Game Rules:
For the duration of the competition, the following rules shall apply: 1. Age must be at least 18 on the day of competition. 2. Eight-man team shall participate in a game at any one time. 3. Substitutions while game is ongoing shall be prohibited. 4. Teams may opt to register an additional two players maximum who may act as replacements or reliefs. 5. Only registered players may be permitted to participate. Substitutes are not authorized. 6. List of players will be finalized before the first set of eliminations. 7. A team or club may field as many squads as they please. 8. Safety equipment shall be mandatory while on the playing field. Equipment 1. FPS limit for setup/modified rifles shall be 450 fps maximum at .2 bb. (Guarder Speeder 2000 Chronograph shall be used) 2. Rifles shall be labelled after chronographing. Tampering of such will mean team disqualification. 3. Players may bring as many magazines as they please, however each fielded team is limited to one box magazine, C magazine, or drum magazine (auto winding). No limitations are placed on the number manual winded magazine with capacities of more than 300 to 800 rounds. 4. Knives, pointed objects, real steel and technicals (pyrotechnics, smoke grenades, flash bangs) are not allowed. 5. Tactical lights and lasers are authorized considering later stages shall be played in the evening 6. Riot shields are not allowed during the competition. Conduct and General Rules 1. Physical contact such as grappling is prohibited. 2. The one hit elimination shall be adopted: a. Direct bb hits shall be hit. b. Ricochets shall not count. c. “Friendly Fire” shall be considered hits. d. “Knife kills” in the form of a physical tag on any part of the opponent’s body shall be considered a kill. 3. Players will not CALL HITS. Violators shall be given one warning. A second violation during the game shall be considered hit and the player will be asked to proceed to the respawn area. 4. Players shall avoid inflicting unnecessary pain. 5. Dead men tell no tales. 6. No time outs. 7. Referees/Marshalls calls shall be final. Players should immediately comply with calls and instructions. 8. Players shall observe proper decorum at all times in the play area.
Game Objectives, Scoring System and Respawn procedures. 1. Teams that are scheduled for the next game on designated fields shall report to designated reporting areas located at the midpoint between fields five minutes before programmed game start. Announcements shall be made thru the PA system. 2. A total of three calls shall be made at two minute intervals prior to the stipulated game start. Failure for teams to report on time shall mean a default. If a fraction of the teams report at the designated time, only the fraction shall be allowed to play. 3. Equipment alibis shall not be considered as an excuse for game postponement. 4. Prior to the start of the game, team leaders shall undergo a toss coin with the winning team selecting their preferred start point. 5. Teams shall form at designated start areas and stay within boundaries until game start is signalled. 6. After the game start signal, players may then move out of the start box and manoeuvre toward the objective. 7. The objective of the match is to knock down the flag located at the center of the field. 8. If a flag knock down is not accomplished after fifteen minutes, the team with the highest score shall be declared the winner. • For this situation scores are counted by subtracting team hits from team kills. 9. Respawn mechanics are as follows: • Hit players shall proceed to the Respawn Point/Start Box. • Hit players shall exit at the nearest sideline with rifle raised in a surrender position to avoid confusion. • Players shall await the arrival of the increasing numbers of buddies before re-entering the playing field. Example: Fist set of Respawn, wait for two players, second set of respawn, wait for three players, third set, wait for four, and so on and so forth. • The number of players entering respective respawn points shall be counted by a designated referee for scoring purposes. Likewise, the ref will declare the total number of person to wait for and call the release. • Release shall be signalled when the last person required has entered the start box. 10. Team leaders shall sign the score sheets immediately after game conclusion to confirm either a win or loss. 11. After signing, teams shall expeditiously exit the play area to make way for succeeding games.
